KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION WINFIELD ELEMENTARY FRIDAY, April 4, 2025 Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. for last names beginning with A-M, and 10:15 a.m. for last names beginning with N-Z. Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025. What you will need on the day of Kindergarten Registration: 1. Only the child registering for Kindergarten 2. A copy of the original birth certificate 3. Original up-to-date Blue Immunization Record 4. Two copies of proof of residence. 5. Enrollment forms to be filled out the day of registration 6. Any pertinent court papers regarding the student’s custody papers. What to expect at Kindergarten Registration: *Only the student registering should be present with a parent. Siblings should not attend. *Follow the signs and building through the auditorium doors only. *Sign the student in at the registration table. *Turn in the required forms listed above. Bringing copies of required forms will decrease wait times. *Parents will attend the Parent Orientation in the Auditorium, while students take a kindergarten readiness test with teachers. Monday-PROMOTE PEACE-Wear your favorite tie dye and be a
peacemaker by using kind words and actions.
Tuesday- -TEAM KINDNESS- Wear your favorite sports tee or jersey
and work together to build your kindness muscles! We are all on the
same team of mutual kindness and respect!
Wednesday-DESTINATION KINDNESS aboard the Love Train-Let’s
go! Wear your favorite destination tee and spread kindness everywhere
you go!
Thursday- KINDNESS NINJAS-Wear all black and sneak up on friends
and classmates with random acts of kindness. Use quiet words in the
halls and classrooms and listen when others talk. Remember
these words by Mr. Rogers, “Love begins with listening.”
Friday- VALENTINE’S DAY- Wear pink or red and show our love for
our school and classmates by using only kind words and actions!

At the December 2024 board meeting, it was voted to move the PD day on April 24th to April 18th . April 18th will be a PD day for faculty; students will be out of school. April 24th will be a regular school day.
