🏈 FOOTBALL TONIGHT! 🏈
Come out to WCHS tonight as the Pirates take on Hamilton!
📍 Estes Hudson Stadium
🕠 Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
🎟️ Admission: $10
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Winfield City High School will utilize the OpenGate weapon detection system at tonight’s jamboree football game to enhance safety at our athletic events.
These free-standing scanners are designed to detect weapons while allowing everyday items—such as cell phones, coins, and car keys—to pass through without triggering an alert.
What to Expect:
All spectators will be required to pass through a weapons detector before entering the event.
Spectators will walk through the scanner one at a time with their personal belongings.
If the scanner is triggered, additional screening may be required. This may include emptying pockets, screening with a handheld wand, and/or a bag search.
HOME GAME REMINDERS
The same policies followed in previous years will remain in effect for all home games:
🚫 No passes out
🚫 No outside food or drinks
The priority of Winfield City Schools is to maintain a welcoming and secure environment while ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we work together to keep our schools safe.
🏴☠️ We look forward to seeing you tonight. Go Pirates! 🏈

Are You Checking Your Student’s Grades?
Progress Reports will go home next week on September 10! Now is a great time to check your student’s grades and make sure they are on track for a successful first grading period.
Parents can monitor their student’s academic progress through Schoology. Each student has a unique Parent Access Code that allows a parent/guardian to connect to their student’s Schoology account and view grades and progress.
Need your student’s Parent Access Code?
Please email one of your student’s teachers, and they will be happy to provide it to you.
We encourage all parents and guardians to stay connected and regularly monitor their student’s academic progress. Working together makes a difference! 💛🖤
