Update: As of today, the start of school has been pushed back one week. We will continue with our staggered plan. 9th & 10th grade students will report on Aug. 20th and 11th & 12th grade students will report on Aug. 21st.
Reminder: Freshman and new student orientation is scheduled for August 11th at 6 PM in the commons at the high school. In order to socially distance, we are only allowing one guest with each of our students. The meeting will also be recorded and streamed on our web-page.
Juniors and seniors please check your email frequently. If any of you are interested in taking coop please email Ms. Bookout and let her know ASAP.
Important: If you have not turned in your laptops that you were using for the 19-20 school year, please bring those by the high school this week. Office hours are from 8-4 each day Mon.- Thurs.

Hello Pirate Family!!! 20-21 School Year: 9th and 10th grade students will return Aug 13th. 11th and 12th grade students will return Aug 14th. The entire student body will return on Aug 17th. We will let you know about Open House very soon!!! Go Pirates!!!
The registration deadline for the ACT scheduled for July 18th is June 19th. Please register by the end of the day on Friday if you plan on participating. WCHS will be a host site for the exam.
Students: Mrs. Weeks just sent out an email that contains instructions for the selection of courses for next school year. Please read the instructions carefully and go over the options with your parent(s). There is a one weeks window to complete your requests.
Seniors: Please come by the school to pick up your diploma and your sign. We are here from 8AM to 3 PM Mon- Thurs.
Students: Today will be the last day to bring your laptops by for drop off at the high school. We will take them until 12. You can also return books, get your report card and clean out your locker. Seniors: We have your diplomas in the main office. See us today!
Reminder: Happy Memorial Day!!! Students can return their laptops, textbooks, and library books tomorrow and Wednesday from 9-12. We will allow 10 students in at at time.
REMINDER: Graduation practice is today, Wednesday, May 20th, at 5:30 PM. You must be present to participate in graduation on Friday. If you have any library books that you have not turned in, we can take those from you tonight.

High School Students will be allowed to come and clear out lockers and return books and laptops on Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th between 9 AM and 12 PM. We will only allow 10 students in at a time due to the social distancing mandates.
BOOKS DUE: please return your library books to school Wednesday, May 13th between the hours of 9 AM and 12 PM. Mrs. Haney will in the library to collect them. If you are not able to drop them off then, you can drop them off in the main office Mon - Fri during the same hours.
REMINDER: If you have work that you have agreed to pick up at the high school, please swing by at any time Monday-Friday from 9-12 to get it. Teachers are placing new work in the main office weekly. Call us if we can be of assistance.
Students it will soon be time to start thinking about scheduling for next year. If you are interested in applying for year book staff check your email for an application from Mrs. Stovall and submit by the deadline. We will be in contact with you soon about your other classes.
All dual enrollment students, please check your school email for an email from Mrs. Weeks about your college class going online starting on Monday.
I am sure that by now each of you have heard about the closure of school after Wednesday. Due to this information, we will move the prom to Wednesday afternoon. We will discuss additional details as we arrive to school on Monday.
