Due to the continued construction and moving lockers, we will not allow anyone to go down the halls for grades 5, 6, and 7. 5th will meet in the lunch room at 5:00-7:00 PM. The 6th will meet in the lunchroom at 5:30-7:30. The 7th grade will meet in the gym. 8th grade will meet down 8th grade hall. Teachers are here and excited to meet their new students! You are welcome to come to the office if you have any questions. There will be people available to assist with enrollment as well. Do not worry; school will be ready on Wednesday; we just need a little more time.
Winfield Middle School students' report cards can be picked up at the middle school starting on 6/5/24.
WMS Awards will be as follows:
5/14 - 8th Grade at 8:15AM
5/14 - 7th Grade at 9:30AM
5/15 - 5th Grade at 8:15AM
5/15 - 6th Grade at 9:30AM
All award ceremonies will be in the middle school gym.
Tomorrow, May 9th, 5/6 grade students may attend a play with some middle school students as cast members. Admission costs $5.00, and concessions will be available for students to purchase.
On Thursday, April 11th, we will begin ACAP testing at WMS. Please help students remember their headphones. It is also encouraged that students get a good night's rest and eat a healthy breakfast (the Lunchroom serves an awesome breakfast). Make sure students arrive on time, as they will not be allowed into the classroom once the test begins. Thank you for helping to ensure the students do their very best!
On Monday, April 8th there will be a Solar Eclipse. We will provide Solar glasses for any students who want to participate in viewing this event. Permission forms will be sent home today or tomorrow.
Spring & Friend Pictures will be done at Winfield Middle School on Friday, March 29th.
Winfield Middle School is having one of their favorite meals today; Loaded Buffalo Fries or Crispitos or P & J Grab ‘n’ Go for lunch.
WMS Basketball 8th Grade Night will be held tonight after the 7th-grade boys' game. If you and your 8th-grade athlete are participating, please be there at 5 p.m. so we can line you up. You may bring balloons.

Winfield Middle School in conjunction with Winfield Elementary school will host 5th grade and 6th grade Math Night tonight 11/16 at the elementary school starting at 6:00 PM. Door prizes, give aways, and lots of fun. Hope to see you there.
Winfield City Middle School is having one of the student’s favorite meals, today. Students can choose from either Mozzarella Cheese Sticks w/Marinara Sauce or Pepperoni Pockets with Corn, Salad, Juice and Milk or they can choose the P & J Grab ‘n’ Go.
Students at Winfield City Middle School are starting their day off with a breakfast choice of either Sausage Gravy and Biscuit or Pop tarts or Assorted Cereals. Each breakfast includes a fruit, fruit juice and milk.

All framed art from our Art show may be picked up at the Winfield Elementary Library tomorrow from 8:00-3:00. If you did not purchase framed art but would still like to take the original home, it will be available also. This includes middle and high school art as well.
