Welcome to the Winfield City Schools’ webpage. We have as our motto, “A Tradition of Excellence.” This is a testimony to the sons and daughters of Winfield from years past and a torch that we continue to carry into the 21st century. It is our goal to create a sense of curiosity and wonder in each of our students in order to prepare them for college or career readiness.
A wise man once said, the greatest compliment that was ever paid me was when one asked me what I thought, and attended to my answer (Henry David Thoreau). It is my intention and desire to listen to all of our stakeholders and respect their thoughts on what is best for our children. I am a servant leader and will do my best to be approachable and transparent. You can contact me by phone at (205) 487-4255 or by email at rthomley@winfield.k12.al.us
