A big thanks to Bevill State Community College for inviting our students to the 2025 Bevill MAP: Making A Path event today. From welding and healthcare to forestry and tech, it was an incredible opportunity to learn and plan for the future. WCS celebrates Autism Acceptance today! At Winfield City Schools, we are proud to recognize and honor the diversity of all learners. Our incredible special education team works tirelessly every day to support and advocate for our students.
Today, we celebrated minds of all kinds! WES had a very special guest join the morning announcements using a communication device, showing us the power of different ways to connect and be heard.
We also want to give a shoutout to Mrs. Long for her thoughtful revision of one of our school’s Super Seven statements—making it more inclusive for students who may be uncomfortable with eye contact. Small changes can make a big difference!
