A huge THANK YOU to our students and the Winfield community for making our very first blood drive such a success. The LifeSouth Blood Drive, hosted by our Career Tech student organizations, truly showed what can happen when a community comes together for a great cause.
Our goal was 15 units of blood — and you helped us collect 54 units! That’s incredible and will make a real difference in so many lives.
We are so proud of our students for leading this effort and so grateful for a community that always shows up to support. Winfield, you made this possible! 🩸👏

This month, we pause to celebrate and reflect on the incredible impact of Career Technical Education. CTE transforms students, strengthens communities, and fuels industry — and we are truly grateful to be part of that mission.
At Winfield City Career & Technical Academy, we are thankful for the opportunity to prepare our students for the future — equipping them with hands-on experience, real-world skills, and the confidence to step boldly into what’s ahead.
Hands-on learning. Real skills. Bright futures ahead. #CTEMonth #WCCTA #CareerTech

Kane Hendrix and Jeremy Santos, we’re so proud of the way you represent our school and community!

Big news for our HOSA students!
Our Community Awareness team has qualified as one of the Top 6 teams in the State of Alabama in the HOSA State Leadership Conference ! 🎉
They will compete at the State HOSA Conference at the end of February. If they place in the Top 3, they will advance to the International HOSA Leadership Conference in June in Indianapolis.
We are so proud of their hard work and leadership — and today they even shared their journey on the radio!
Let’s cheer them on as they take this next step!
