Congratulations to our students for earning the Mental Health Worker credential through their Health Science course! This achievement reflects dedication to learning mental health care concepts, patient care fundamentals, and the skills needed to support others through the care process. We are proud of our students for taking steps toward careers that make a difference in the lives of others.

Important message concerning PayPams accounts for cafeteria purchases.
We would like to thank you for using PayPAMS!
Effective 5/21/2026, payments, balance information, email reminders and cafeteria purchases will no longer be available on PayPAMS due to transition to a new system at the district’s Child Nutrition department. Student balances will be transferred to the new system. The school district will contact parents regarding new payment options.
All money in the student and adult meal accounts will transfer to the new system before August 2026.
Doors will open at 2 PM for ticket holders — we can’t wait to see you! All other family members and friends are welcome to enter the gym starting at 2:15. See you there!
Winfield City Schools has implemented the Open Gate weapon detection system to enhance safety across all campuses. These scanners will be used today at Graduation on Sunday, May 17, to screen all attendees as they enter school grounds.
These free-standing machines are designed to detect weapons while allowing everyday items such as cell phones, coins, and car keys to pass through without triggering an alert.
Here’s what to expect when scanners are in use:
🔹 Everyone will walk through the scanner individually, along with their belongings.
🔹 If the scanner is triggered, further instructions will be provided. This may include emptying pockets, being screened with a handheld wand, and/or having bags/backpacks searched if necessary.

We will have a football meeting on Monday night, May 18, at 6:00 PM at the Indoor Practice Facility. At least one parent is required to attend for all players from Jr. High through Varsity for the 2026 football season.

At the May 12th meeting of the Winfield City Board of Education, the board recognized 5 seniors for scoring 30 or above on their ACT test. Congratulations to the following seniors: Baron Smith, Korbin Marcum, Emma Hollister, Jack Hayden Cook, and Gunner Cagle.

Our students in grades 9–12 had a great opportunity Friday at our Career Fair! We would like to thank all of the vendors who took the time to invest in our students, share information about career pathways, and help prepare them for their futures. Your support and willingness to connect with our students truly makes a difference.
A special thank you to Mrs. Taylor for all of the hard work that went into planning and organizing the Career Fair. We appreciate your dedication to providing valuable opportunities for our students!
Today our Cosmetology students put on an amazing Fashion Show for the student body featuring faculty and staff as models! 💇♀️✨
Our students showcased their talents by styling hair and applying makeup for each model before they walked the runway. We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and professionalism our students displayed throughout the event.
Thank you to all of the faculty and staff who participated and helped make the show such a fun and entertaining experience for everyone!
