This is a friendly reminder that the high school main building will be closed for a safety drill today. The indoor athletic building remains open. All other campuses are open as normal today.

On Monday, July 13, Winfield City Schools will conduct a school safety training at Winfield High School.

During the training, the high school campus will be closed to all visitors and employees. Please do not report to the high school unless you have been specifically assigned to participate in the training.

The high school will resume normal summer operations on Tuesday, July 14.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to prioritize the safety and security of our students, employees, and schools.

All other campuses will be open and under normal summer hours.

The Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) has implemented a new Parent/Prescriber Authorization (PPA) form for any medication that will be administered at school. Schools across Alabama are updating to this revised form for medication administration.

Lockers and parking permits will not be available for purchase during schedule pickup.

🎉 Congratulations to Molly Rose Butler on completing the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): National Security program at Georgetown University! For 8 days, Molly Rose joined outstanding high school students from across the nation for this prestigious residential leadership experience, exploring careers in diplomacy, intelligence, and national defense. Through hands-on crisis simulations, visits to the Pentagon, the U.S. Department of State, foreign embassies, and Arlington National Cemetery, as well as presentations from military and national security professionals, she gained valuable insight into these career fields while also earning college credit.
