Winfield City Schools is putting together a special video highlighting what makes our school system such a great place to learn, work, and grow — and we would love to include voices from our community, alumni, families, and friends of WCS.
We are asking anyone who loves Winfield City Schools to send us a short video sharing one of the following:
A favorite teacher shoutout
A favorite school memory
A special moment from your time at Winfield
A message of appreciation for our students, teachers, coaches, or staff
Or simply a quick, “I love Winfield City Schools!”
Videos do not need to be fancy. A simple phone video is perfect. Just speak from the heart and keep it brief.
Please note that the final edited video will be published on our school website and may also be shared at public events.
Please send your video to kstovall@winfield.k12.al.us.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the people, traditions, and pride that make Winfield City Schools so special.

HOBY is a nationally recognized leadership program that welcomes school- and community- high school sophomores to participate in leadership seminars focused on developing leadership skills, building confidence, and encouraging service to others. Through engaging workshops, discussions, and collaborative activities, students learn to identify their strengths and discover how they can make a positive impact in their schools and communities.
We would also like to recognize former WCHS HOBY ambassadors Jack Hayden Cook and Kane Kendrix who were selected by HOBY to serve on the HOBY Alumni Staff at this year's seminar. This is a significant honor that is awarded to former ambassadors who demonstrate outstanding leadership and a continued commitment to the HOBY mission.
Their service helped ensure a positive and successful experience for the new ambassadors while allowing them to continue developing their own leadership skills.
We are proud of all of these students for representing WCHS with excellence and for demonstrating the leadership, service, and character that make our school community proud!
We are very grateful to Citizen's Bank of Winfield for always sponsoring our HOBY Ambassadors.

Sponsored by The American Legion, Alabama Boys State is a premier leadership and citizenship program that provides students with hands-on experience in the political process and the operation of state and local government. Through active participation, students learn about the responsibilities of citizenship, the functions of government, the role of political parties, and the importance of informed voting and civic engagement.
We are proud of Blaine and Brody for representing WCHS and our community through their leadership, character, and service.
