Remember, you must have your tux/drape portrait made with Strawbridge to be in the yearbook.

🎉 Congratulations to Molly Rose Butler on completing the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): National Security program at Georgetown University!
For 8 days, Molly Rose joined outstanding high school students from across the nation for this prestigious residential leadership experience, exploring careers in diplomacy, intelligence, and national defense. Through hands-on crisis simulations, visits to the Pentagon, the U.S. Department of State, foreign embassies, and Arlington National Cemetery, as well as presentations from military and national security professionals, she gained valuable insight into these career fields while also earning college credit.
We are incredibly proud of Molly Rose for representing Winfield with excellence and for taking advantage of this outstanding opportunity. Congratulations, Molly Rose! 💙🇺🇸

Good luck to Lily and Myia as they compete at the 2026 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas! These students earned the opportunity to compete at the national level by placing at the FBLA State Leadership Conference. We are proud of their hard work and are grateful for the dedication and guidance of their FBLA advisors Mrs. Stovall and Ms. Bookout, whose support helped make this achievement possible. Best of luck as they represent our school and Alabama on the national stage!

Bring the whole family out for a day packed with a Veteran's honor session, water slides, inflatables, a wipeout zone, train rides, foam cannons, face painting, and old-fashioned games. We’ll wrap up the night with the movie "HOPPERS" and a huge fireworks show!

We are preparing rosters and need all enrollment information to be up to date. Congratulations to Brett Cotton and Audrey Spillers for representing WCHS as ambassadors at the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Seminar. These students were selected based on their leadership potential, character, service, and ability to positively influence others.
HOBY is a nationally recognized leadership program that welcomes school- and community- high school sophomores to participate in leadership seminars focused on developing leadership skills, building confidence, and encouraging service to others. Through engaging workshops, discussions, and collaborative activities, students learn to identify their strengths and discover how they can make a positive impact in their schools and communities.
We would also like to recognize former WCHS HOBY ambassadors Jack Hayden Cook and Kane Kendrix who were selected by HOBY to serve on the HOBY Alumni Staff at this year's seminar. This is a significant honor that is awarded to former ambassadors who demonstrate outstanding leadership and a continued commitment to the HOBY mission.
Their service helped ensure a positive and successful experience for the new ambassadors while allowing them to continue developing their own leadership skills.
We are proud of all of these students for representing WCHS with excellence and for demonstrating the leadership, service, and character that make our school community proud!

The Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District presented us with a check to help sponsor our FFA Forestry Team. We will travel to Auburn on June 8th to compete in the State FFA Forestry CDE. Forestry team members include Hudson Shubert, Joseph Harbin, Sean Kimbrell, and Brett Cotton.
