Our Journeys after school program has availability to enroll new students in grades 2nd - 6th! Tuition for the program is $30 per week. Please complete this form if you would like for your child to participate in the Journeys afterschool program for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Thank you to our Peer Helpers and all Winfield City Schools students for the generous food donations this year. Food bags will be available for pickup tomorrow, December 19, at the front entrance of Winfield City High School beginning at 8:30 a.m. Bags will be distributed while supplies last.

WCHS: ✨ “High Attendance, High Comfort—Pajamas Tomorrow!” (December 12, 2025)

Our health science and cosmetology students had a great time visiting WMS to share some of the things they’ve learned in their CTE classes! 🩺💇‍♀️✨ They enjoyed leading a lesson on building good daily routines and self-care, helping younger students learn simple habits that support good health. Thank you so much to Dr. Rhonda Bowen and Dr. Nancy Claus for taking the time to speak with our HOSA students and those interested in pursuing nursing.

Dr. Bowen and Dr. Claus shared valuable information about both the Traditional Nursing Program and the new Joint Enrollment Nursing Program offered through Bevill State and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Through this innovative joint enrollment pathway, students can earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from UAB while completing their Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at Bevill State — opening doors to advanced credentials and expanded career opportunities.
