I want to take this opportunity to recognize all of the students at WCHS for their participation in our first STEAM Expo! A total of 52 groups created projects that incorporated components of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Yesterday, each group presented their projects to teachers, and 15 groups were selected to present their projects to a panel of educators and business/industry professionals at the Expo. The top 4 projects were selected, and they are as follows: 1st: Effects of Social Media on Teens (Team Members: Taylor Anderson, Cody Dodd, McKenzie Norris, Abby Beasley, and Preslee Loring) 2nd: Are Extracurriculars Beneficial to Students (Team Members: Anna Ary, Drake Thompson, Moriah Hollis, Laken Hosch, and Gabe Guin) 3rd: Hydroponics (Team Members: Will May, Anna Lynn, Adam Cunningham, and Anna Beth Butler) 4th: Water Filtration to Prevent Disease (Team Members: Jase Hollingsworth, Allison Ballinger, Brooklyn Hollis, Rylee Hulsey, Chance Concord, Kenzey Harding, Jordyn Simmons, and Ty Hughes)

Come out to the Spring Fling tonight to hear Ringer Starr. The Spring Fling will be from 4:30-7:00 at Ivan K. Hill Park.

Winfield Middle School baseball tryouts will be Next Monday (5/2) and Tuesday (5/3) after school. Students will ride the bus to the elementary school and walk over to the baseball field.

Congratulations to the Boys Track and Field team for winning the 2022 Marion County Meet!


Come out and support the Pirates in the first round of the state playoffs!


Middle School will be attending the track meet tomorrow. We will walk up at 12:00 and stay until we return for bus/car rider pick up at the middle school. Entry will be free but students will need money for concessions. Students are allowed to wear hats while attending the track meet.
