Winfield City High School students had a great day at the Bevill State Torch Competition held on the Fayette campus!
Students at WCHS are currently working on their STEAM Expo projects, and one of our groups has created a survey to collect data on social/behavioral changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Tomorrow, February 21, all students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will be taking a mock ACT test. 10th and 11th grade dual enrollment students should report directly to the high school in the morning.
Winfield City Schools Child Nutrition program invited their school administrators to take part in a in-service with CNP. Each CNP employee and administrator from each school was given a charcuterie board with instruction to prepare to meet USDA requirements for a week. Each cafeteria then shared the charcuterie boards with the staff at each school. This was a day of learning and having fun. Thank you administrators for participating.
On Tuesday, February 21, students in grades 9-11 will be taking a mock ACT test. SENIORS will be virtual for the day.

All literacy event sessions have been cancelled. We are still in lockdown for precautionary measures. We are all safe! Law enforcement will remain on campus until we receive an all clear.
