P4 Physical Therapy in Winfield presented a donation to the Winfield City High School cheerleaders, softball and boy’s basketball team.
“Part of our mission for this company is to give back to our community. We are blessed to have had the opportunity this morning to present a donation to the Winfield City High School cheerleaders, softball and boy’s basketball team. It feels good to give back locally to our alma mater. We hope this is just the beginning of many more opportunities,” said P4 local co-owner Carly Chaffin.

Tech Days - The 10th grade class visited Bevill State Community College to learn about the career technical programs. Programs visited were machine tool technology, automotive, electrical systems, nursing, HVAC, computer science, office administration and welding.

Congratulations to Coach Wakefield on his 100th career win as the head coach of the Winfield Pirates varsity basketball team. Coach Wakefield reached this milestone on January 27 when his team beat Tarrant 88-43.

Students at Winfield High School have began working on their STEAM Expo projects! Each group of students will be selecting a project that incorporates a combination of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Projects will allow them to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their academic and CTE courses while also allowing them to learn through the application of critical thinking and inquiry based learning.

On Monday, February 7th, our Lady Pirates will host Oakman in the first round of the 3A Area 10 tournament. The game will begin at 6:00 p.m. All tickets must be purchased through GoFan. Currently, GoFan indicates the game will be played at Sulligent which is inaccurate. The error has been reported and should be cleared up before the game on Monday.
