Alabama DHR Announces Rollout of Summer P-EBT Benefits.
We want to remind all students to have your student pass when attending home athletic events. The pass will be required to get in free.
Winfield Volleyball will host their first home game of the season today with JV starting at 4:30 with the Varsity team to play right after. Come out and support these girls in their first game! All students get in free with their student ticket!
The Winfield Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Mule Day is back! Please help us celebrate the 48th annual Mule Day on September 23rd and 24th. We hope to see you there!
We have posted a Health Science position for the high school. This position will be for a new Career and Technical Education program that will allow students to take courses that prepare them for careers in the health field. Student data collected from an interest survey indicated that this is a program in which many of our students have shown interest. Since we recently were looking to fill the automotive program vacancy, we analyzed the numbers, and enrollment had steadily declined. We understand that the automotive field is in high demand across our state, and we plan to revisit the possibility of reopening the program in the future. We are excited about the new opportunities the Health Science program will bring our students.
Thank you Chief Burleson and the Winfield PD for a great job at our Vaping assembly. Chief educated students on the dangers of vaping and other illegal substances as well as the legal aspects. WMS appreciates the partnership we share with the Winfield PD.
