A Winfield fumble on the goal line the deal. Hayden wins in a close one 35-27.

With 2:24 left, Hayden adds a TD to increase the lead 35-27.

Winfield strikes again but fails on the extra point. With 6:30 left in the game, Hayden leads 28-27.

At the end of the 3rd, Winfield has made it a ball game. It’s 28-21 Hayden.

Girl Power, a program based on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) was created to encourage female students to consider the exciting possibilities of Engineering and IT. Our fifth and sixth grade young women were provided an hour of Girl Power by Mrs. Jennifer Birmingham and Mrs. Daphne Hendrix. Topics were chemistry and rocketry.

Thanks to Winfield Elementary School and Winfield Middle School for celebrating Bus Driver Appreciation Month.
