Jack Hayden Cook and Baron Smith were selected by the University of Alabama Capstone Council to attend a two-day leadership conference in Tuscaloosa on February 29 and March 1. During the conference, students toured the campus, participated in team building activities, worked on collaborative projects, and listened to key-note speakers. They had the opportunity to meet and interact with over 130 students from across the state of Alabama. Hosted by the Capstone Council and Honors College, the theme of the academy is Values, Vision, and Voice and gives the attendees the tools they will need to apply their leadership skills in their own schools and communities.
