The Winfield Middle School football game at Fayette tonight has been pushed back to start at 7 p.m.
The Homecoming Court will be introduced before the football game kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night.
Ahoy, mateys! Only one week until National School Lunch Week kicks off! It's time to prepare for a week full of treasure hunts and tasty meals. On Wednesday, October 23rd, the Middle School and High School and October 24th the Elementary School students will be treated with Dady’s Roasted Corn.
Corn is a healthy grain and a source of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It may promote eye and digestive health. Corn is typically yellow but comes in a variety of other colors, such as red, orange, purple, blue, white, and black.

Winfield City Schools is Celebrating Apple Crunch Day
What is Apple Crunch Day?
Schools across the U.S. show their support for fresh, local produce by crunching into an apple on Apple Crunch Day. Each year, the Alabama Farm to School Program invites students, teachers, administrators, and parents to join us. This year we would like to reach 30,000 participants!!
Help us reach our goal by clicking here and signing up for this year's Apple Crunch Day! We will hold this year's live Apple Crunch on October 10th, and we hope you can join us!


The WCHS Cosmetology Department will be interviewed, today. Tune-in at 7:30!!!!

The volleyball team will be hosting the area tournament next Wednesday, October 16. Students will be able to attend if they purchase a ticket. The tournament bracket is attached.

Football tonight at Carbon Hill.
Carbon Hill has the following gameday rules in place:
1. Weapons detectors will be utilized at tonight's
game.
2. Gates will open at 5:30 PM.
3. All spectators will pass through a weapons
detector before purchasing a ticket and entering the
stadium.
4. Stadium chairs and umbrellas are permitted.
5. All bags will need to pass through the weapons
detectors. Please ensure all bags are free of large
amounts of metal.
6. All weapons including large knives are prohibited.
7. The following items have the potential to sound the
weapons detector alarm: large metal cups, large
electronic devices (including laptops and tablets),
and body sprays in metal containers. Please limit
these items if possible.
8. Students below 9th grade must be accompanied
by an adult to enter.
