The Winfield Elementary 3rd & 4th Grade Choir performed their concert, "Christmas Jubilation" on Monday Night Dec. 11th and Tuesday Dec. 12th. The choir is made up of 108 talented students who have the desire to sing and perform, led by WInfield Elementary Music Teacher, Emily Rea. The choir performed a selection of songs describing what might happen during the Christmas holidays. Excitement, bells ringing, snowmen, picking out a Christmas tree, elves on the shelf, drumming, fruitcake, and ugly sweaters. Winfield Elementary is proud of its students and how they represent our school. Merry Christmas!

Winfield City Baseball would like to invite your son to participate in a pre-season training camp with your Winfield City High School coaching staff and players. Your son will have the chance to work with Winfield coaching staff along with selected volunteers to help develop your son's baseball knowledge and technique. Your child will receive instruction on hitting, fielding, pitching, baserunning, arm care, and the mental aspects of the game of baseball. This camp is for Winfield Students who are currently enrolled at Winfield City Schools 2nd- 6th grade Price will be $50.00 per child, and will include 7 training days.
Training Camp will begin January 9th and will meet every Tuesday and Thursday for the month of January, while we are also getting ready for our season. Camp will take place at Winfield City High School multi purpose building. We will begin at 5:30 pm and dismiss at 7:30pm. Each practice will begin with a 45 minute plyometric workout followed by 1 hour 15 minutes of instructional time. This would be a great way for your child to learn some important fundamentals of the game of baseball before starting their 2024 season.
All proceeds made from this training camp will go toward providing Winfield City Baseball with the latest technology used to help develop baseball players in the game today. Two of the main items that we would like to purchase are a Hit Track System along with a Rapsodo. These are great training tools to receive immediate feedback in baseball training and development. We are very excited for your participation and can not wait to see you there! Go Pirates!
Registration will be at 5:00 p.m. at the multi purpose building on January 9th before the first day of camp. Please contact Alan Smith at asmith@winfield.k12.al.us with any questions.

WCHS Faculty & Staff want to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
