Data Night for Grades K-8 will be next Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. in the Elementary Auditorium. We will share information about the Literacy and Numeracy Act and i-Ready and Spring Summative Testing (ACAP).

The WCHS band had a group of band students attend Jacksonville State University's band day today. The students got to join the Marching Southerns on the field at halftime to play four songs. Attending the event today were Corbin Bryant, Eli Upton, Jeremiah Connor, Kaden Williamson, Morgan Palmer, Wren Williamson, Kalee Upton, and Keeley Gray.

We are pleased to welcome Carolyn Jungels as a 4th grade teacher at Winfield Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. Mrs. Jungels has a B.A. in Sacred Music and M.S. in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College. Mrs. Jungels homeschooled her children for 16 years and was a substitute for two years at Winfield City Schools, and last year taught 4th grade at Hubbertville School. She is married to her husband Cameron and they have four children Anna, Luke, Leah, and Lilly.
“Winfield has been my home for almost eleven years,” said Jungels. “I am excited about the opportunity to teach at Winfield Elementary and to make a difference in each of my students' lives.”
