FBLA National Leadership Conference was a great experience for Jazmin Mayfield and Cheyenne Wilson. We could not be more proud of these students. They truly stepped out and worked so hard to compete Nationally with over 100 students in their competition and a total of over 14,000 from the the U. S., Guam, Puerto Rico and other countries such as China and Tanzania. These students made great gains in their presentation and speaking skills. They never let up and worked right up to the moment they presented. They will both be back next year and gained so much from this experience. They are both excited about sharing their experience with other students to grow our high school FBLA program and encourage other students to work toward competition in choosing one of the more than 70 competitive events. They are already planning to begin working toward competing in Orlando next year for FBLA NLC. We appreciate everyone that made donations to help support these girls!

Great News for all Winfield City Schools families! We hope to see all students in the cafeteria this upcoming school year. Winfield City Schools will participate in a PILOT program for the 2023-2024 school year, allowing all enrolled students to eat free breakfast and lunch. This is possible through Community Eligibility Provisions. CEP allows for free meals for all students based on the overall economic status of our regional area. All students are encouraged to dine with us for breakfast and lunch. There is nothing that parents or guardians need to do! Parents will not fill out free/reduced meal applications for the 2023-2024 school year. *The first complete meal is free, but individual items or extra items must be purchased. Adults, Pirate Pre-K, and employees will still be required to pay for school meals. Parents may still put money in their child’s account by going to www.paypams.com. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
